But its true Santa Barbara Has no true hoods sure some gang activity but common its fucking day care compared to other places. Plus Bobby has had Surf Co silver spoon since day one. Fuck he use to drive to surf in a Gay little BMW. I lived in SB 1992 to 2000 and Guess what Maybe one Murder and a couple of Drive byes maybe...To try and come off all hard and Claim SB is a joke its not Oxnard and in No way close to L.A. and for sure not as rough as any east coast Ghettos. Hell SB bad Hoods are full of hard working Mexican people who Clean Jack Johnson and Opera and Kelly's Hillside Monticeto Homes. Put it this way Isla Vista is More Hood then east or west side SB will ever be.
On top of that Fuck him for turning down reef. When real hard working fucking Mexy people are Picking beans in the field to the right and left side of the road on his 8 mile drive from the SB Hood to surf Rincon. He has got big balls Claiming all this shit and then when he does get a pay day he turns it down. 100 field workers together don't make that kind of money in a life time.

I don't think you guys have any understanding of Mexican culture and the ways that it can suck you into gang life. Bobby did a remarkable thing here and was able to keep his head above the water and not drown in the violence of gang culture...

Once again you guys digging into someone's life and fabricate the shit out of it.
At the end of the day Bobby is famous for his elite level of Surfing and should be recognized for it. Under Kelly Slater he is one of the best surfers to ever come out of the states.
I am a fan of Stab but think this cartoon is a cheap shot at Bobby and the people who have been apart and put so much time into his career.
