You did blow us away with your extended nihilism metaphor though Charlie, using the structure and style of your narrative-slash-interview to re-enforce the contrived 'nihilistic' point. Uh, really higher grade stuff, mind blowing and not at all predictable... I'm all for gonzo and something different to the done-to-death approach of surf mags around the world, but not when it's just window dressing to make a tired and self-indulgent point. Then I'd rather stick to my right hand and cheese grater for entertainment.
