The Modern Collective Comes To Life

Poor Specimen has been churning out classics for almost two decades. Most of the plaudits have gone to Taylor Steele, yet to suggest he is solely responsible would be a mistake. Kai Neville is to Taylor Steele what Number Two was to Dr Evil. It was Kai’s pulsing, new-school electro soundtrack that accompanied Stranger Than Fiction, and it was Kai’s slick editing that put much of the film together. Now, as Taylor Steele enjoys time off after the his latest film, Kai assumes control over the empire, making his directorial debut with Modern Collective.
So what’s it like being inside the lair of one of surfing’s powerbrokers? “He's not the type of boss to snap on you. He lets me do my own thing and either says yey or nay on the end result.”
And on producing his first film under Poor Specimen: “I guess I feel pressure if I fuck up 'cause Poor Specimen has a rep of producing so many bangers, but I’m going to keep working on my own style.”
Kai has trimmed down the cast from STF to a small crew who represent the future and style of hi-fi surfing: Jordy, Dane, (well durrr! good movies just aren’t made these days without these two cats attached), Yadin Nicol, Mitch Coleborn and Dion Agius. There's room for one more, but Kai hasn't decided who it will be yet.
Where STF gave us the best, Modern Collective goes a step further, recording the best in creative mode, taking “futuristic surfing into another dimension”. Expect new moves, is what he's saying. The Collective is in France right now. Keep up with them as they “hunt ramps around the galaxy” at  moderncollective.blogspot.com

Aloha Jed!
I have been trying to find out the name of a song that was in Kai Nevilles portion of the movie, Somewhere, the Movie. In Convergence, its the first song that blends into technology illiterate by The Scientists of Modern Music. I know this has nothing to do with your article, but if you can help me out, iwould really be STOKED!
