that's fucked, would've made for a good comp. in theory it would be great to have europe so mobile, but when you're setting up media tents and webcast gear i'm sure it's not that easy to cart it around europe on a whim.

Imagine the lineup w/ two pampered pros out, with their jet skis to assist them. All those beautiful beasts rushing down the bar, unridden. Sure, the surfing would have been great, but what a waste of truly exceptional surf.

I agree with "yeah i know". It should be an open contest from the middle of September up to the end of October, with Hossegor, Mundaka and Portugal (with back up venue in Canarias, see the latest WQS there...). Just lease a boeing (an airbus, to be fair) to be able to bring the tour from one point to another. It's not easy to be in Hossegor in the evening and in Peniche the following morning...But the idea is good. A one month and a half for two or three event Europe, it is really easy to drive from Mundaka to Hossegor, though...

they should have the option to run the europe events in any order aslong as it's within the 6 week window. get each break when it's good.
