I recommend de-friending if I cause annoyance.... to all my "friends".The sudden, silent disappearance of words.... the reverse movement of the "friend" counter... all these things gnaw at that primitive place just behind your solar-plexus.It is hardly Caesar sacking the Library of Alexandria, although I wish it was.The digital accessorising of words with photo and video seems to increase the indelible value of the text, but the social networking sites and the community of social isolationists that ironical...
