The Wave and the Watcher
Posted on June 24, 2009
Tama looked ok this morning. Loads of guys were on it early. This guy was happy just to be watching. Would have been perfect if he'd had a nice hot coffee in his hand. What a way to start the day.

Tamarama this morning
Posted on June 23, 2009
I guess everywhere is pumping this morning, but i'm stuck here at home today working for the bossman starting at 10am. Tama always looks heaps better than it is. There is a permanent lump, bump or hump that kilss it when the cons are on. Here is one i got this morning. For those who may just have some time in the office to sneak a peak at "Little weeds" Have a great day! - Brad

Morocco - The Farthest Land of the Setting Sun !
Posted on June 21, 2009
A few years back i was lucky enough to get to Morocco two years in a row. I fell in love with the joint. I wrote this story about it for anyone that just needed a helping hand in making that final decision of whether to go or not. Hope you like it !

COG Last night
Posted on June 14, 2009
Arhh! you got to love it when COG rock into town. The boys from Bondi put on a great set last night to a packed "Selina's" at the Coogee Bay. They didn't dissapoint as they delivered their usual power house and intense live show. Here's a few pics for thos COG fans out there that may not have a chance to see them on this tour....

It's what we do!
Posted on June 12, 2009
Sometimes i think to myself am i crazy? Really am i? or am i just a mad Frother. On Thursday i had a massive day. 4am get up and a bolt down the South Coast. A pit stop at Macca's, standard Bacon and Egg meal with an extra hash brown for good measure. Little did i know that i would spend 4hrs in the water kicking around like a mad man, diving rougue sets in extremely dark water all with a massive stitch. " I think it's time to start swimming laps again" Now two days later i still haven't caught up on sleep....

My photographic journey started about 5 yrs ago where i was lucky enough to work and travel on a huge private yacht for 4yrs. Let me say that living with 16 other crew for that long was a test of patience and loads of head noise. We travelled all through Europe and the Caribbean and inbetween washing the boat and scrubbing the decks for the boss man i used to spend my spare time shooting in the small towns or ports we would sail into. I've surfed inside the Med in Spain at Barcelona, Porto Banus and Viarrigio in Italy and have also had a wave with Jimmy Buffet on the French Island of St Barthelemy in the Caribbean. It's hard being home. I'm a traveller at heart and i get itchy feet like nothing else.
My love for surfing and photography drove me to start a surfing website called http://www.frothers.com.au, which with the help of one of my best mates "Morg's" has become a popular webby for the locals here in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney. It showcase's all the core locals and also gives other up and comer photographers a chance to show their work. I'm up every morning without fail shooting from Bondi to Maroubra. Crazy as i have a full time job on the beach as a lifeguard. Sometime's its hard with the waves around here and often i find i lack inspiration as it's usually garbage but every now and then we nail a few beauty's which keeps that passion and dream alive
It's been great having a look at everyone's work. You don't have to go far to look for talented photographers not to mention some fantastic inspiration. If your like me i can look through mags all day or the many surfing websites online and just dream of nailing a shot that would be seen all around the world in surf shops and mags. I do envy the pro's, but it hasn't come easy for them either. They have all slogged it out. I hope that one day my shots will speak for themselves. I might just need some help from Dustin to get there!
Hope you like my shots. Stab me up. Go on do it!
