He stood beyond the fence,,
The barrier between them,,
Like a never-ending sea,,
Forever remaining,,
Shadows cast over him,,
Light shines on her,,
He is the forbidden fruit,,
The seed of her desire,,
Yet forbidden was her lust,,
To climb the precarious fence,,
To jump the boundaries,,
Means death,,
Wind rustles her hair,,
Her scent so torturous,,
The smell taunts him so,,
Yet he cannot forgive himself,,
He wants her love,,
But he knows,,
He must depart,,
His words tear her apart,,
Her heart wrenched from her chest,,
And as leaves surround them,,
Mist engulfs them,,
As the night grows cold,,
He slowly fades,,
He leaves nothing but a memory,,
Her tears fall unseen,,
On barren hands and hearts,,
But she wipes away the grief,,
Knows its not forever,,
Yet sorrow had gripped her,,
She refuses to let go,,
Despairingly she whispers,,
And knows of its truth,,
LOVE CONQUERS ALL......
